Frequently Asked Questions

Assisted stretching is a hands-on, guided stretching session where your body is gently supported into stretches without you needing to actively “do” the work. It can feel like yoga done for you. Sessions focus on improving flexibility, mobility, circulation, and nervous system regulation, while allowing the body to relax and release tension in a supported, mindful way.

Assisted stretching and Thai yoga massage share similar roots in movement, breath, and mindful touch. My work is Thai-inspired, meaning it draws from the principles of traditional Thai yoga massage while adapting them to a modern, client-centred session. The emphasis is on supported movement, flexibility, and nervous system regulation rather than following a fixed traditional sequence.

Oil-based massage sessions are offered through Lomi Lomi Nui, Deep Tissue, or Swedish massage. These sessions involve direct contact with the skin using oil and are designed to work more deeply with the soft tissues to support relaxation, release, and restoration.
-
These styles are offered as distinct session types due to their different practical setups (clothed vs oil-based). Before your session, we’ll choose the approach that best supports your body and intentions for that day.
